Mahendra shot Kuldeep Singh, a miner, near Shivpuri village in Lucknow at around 7:00 am on Friday morning. During the incident, Kuldeep extended his left hand, due to which the bullet passed through his palm. The accused fled after committing the incident.
Kuldeep Singh, resident of Digvi village, alleges that his soil mining work is going on in the limits of Shivpuri village. It has permission from the administration. He was returning from the mining site around 7:00 am on Friday morning. Mahendra Singh, resident of Kathwara, was found on the unpaved road. He abused and said that he will not get the soil filled. After this the weapon was fired. The bullet passed through Kuldeep’s left palm.
Demand for extortion regarding soil mining
It is alleged that Rs 5,000 was being demanded overnight for soil mining, which Kuldeep did not give. After this, this incident happened on Friday morning.
Was talking on phone with friend Rahul’s Kuldeep
Kuldeep Singh alleges that at the time of the incident he was talking on the phone to his friend Rahul. The phone was held with the right hand. Therefore, Rahul has also heard the entire incident. Kuldeep himself informed the police about the incident. After this, the police took Kuldeep to Ram Sagar Mishra Hospital for treatment, from where he was referred to Balrampur Hospital. Incharge Inspector Bakshi Ka Talab Sanjay Kumar Singh said that the injured Kuldeep is undergoing treatment. The police is investigating the matter
